Over Cleric’s Fatwa.
An Islamic Cleric, Idris Tenshi cried out that President Tinubu’s wife, Remi Tinubu deserved to be killed by Muslims for being leader of infidels (a Christian Pastor). He was neither arrested by DSS nor questioned. He only apologized, that other clerics have explained the verse he quoted to him.
Will the story be the same if tables were turned?
Recall that the cleric, in a sermon, described the wife of the president as an “infidel” who should be killed.
The cleric, who spoke in the Hausa language, said: “Tinubu’s wife is an unbeliever and even among the unbelievers, she is a leader.”
“She is among those that Allah has instructed us to kill because she is among the leaders of the unbelievers,” he added.
On October 19, 2023 in the same way Sheik Ahmad Gumi, Grand Mufti & Mufassir, said at the Kaduna Central Mosque ‘‘Christians could not be trusted with Power and their infidels with National Security’’.
